Book Summaries
This section will list links to short plot summaries of key books. Of course reading a summary is no substitute for reading the book itself, but having an idea of what the book is about before you start to read it can make it easier to understand a complex plot.

We plan to add plot summaries for all of the classic literature including the works of Dickens, Shakespeare, and more.
For now, we recommend http://www.cummingsstudyguides.net/ which has a nice collection of free plot summaries as well as commentary and annotations on various important works including poems and novels.
